The Prado is located in the House of Hospitality, in the heart of San Diego’s world famous Balboa Park.  A National Historic Landmark which was originally built for the 1914-16 Panama-California Exposition. This recently restored San Diego treasure features original Spanish, Moorish and Mexican architecture, spectacular gardens and a wonderful courtyard with the magnificent Donal Hord sculpture, “Women of Tehuantepec” a world renowned piece of art.

For the planner looking for a special venue for an off-property evening, The Prado offers more than 22,000 sq. ft.of indoor and outdoor banquet space.  The elegant Grand Ballroom features beautiful hardwood floors, a 27 foot high hand stenciled ceiling, lacy chandeliers, skylights and a fully equipped theatrical stage. It can accommodate 320 people for a sit down dinner.
